Gilmore is Gator Bowl Parade Marshal
According to the Florida Times-Union, Artis Gilmore was a marshal of the Gator Bowl Parade in Jackosnville, FL to help celebrate the new year.

In 1972, Artis Gilmore accomplished a rare feat in professional sports when he was named Rookie of the Year and Most Valuable Player of the American Basketball Association (ABA).
